Kia Ora! I’m a New Zealand born British Designer based in Maidenhead, Berkshire UK. I hold a Bachelor’s Degree in Visual Communications and have over 15 years in the industry. My history ranges from large production houses to boutique advertising agencies while contracting in-between full time positions.
My career started building flash banners for Frank Advertising in Wellington. When Frank merged with Ogilvy, my role expanded to included digital design and production for the majority of their Wellington clients. After five years in the New Zealand market, I followed my wife-to-be to Los Angeles and continued graphics and branding for a group of my own clients. A year later we settled in London where I accepted a position at Tag Worldwide. During this time produced campaigns for Procter & Gamble, Intel, Jaguar Land Rover, and Gucci. I then helped build and supervise a dedicated production team for Burberry of London, which included brand guardianship and localisation for EMEA territories.
After Tag, I contracted for Move Agency. Over the following 18 months I built relationships with Ogilvy RedWorks, Bartle Bogle Hegarty, Addictive Pixel, Atomic London, Space66, and Wellcom Worldwide. I was then approached by Gravity Global who offered me a position as Senior Designer and Digital Production Lead. Working directly with the development and account teams, we implemented new production processes which increased Gravity's digital collateral by over 200%, while helping the company avoid additional overheads. My role grew to include managing Gravity's London digital department, as well as guiding and mentoring other designers within our team.
My passion is Interaction, with a solid foundation in Corporate Identity, Brand Guardianship, and Campaign Development. I primarily uses Sketch and Photoshop but have decent experience with Figma, Illustrator, and InDesign. I currently work as a remote contractor, but am open to discussing permanent roles within the right agency or industry.
